Now if the word PRO meant talented in the guise of a someone highly skilled and experienced at the top of there game...the likes of Rooney, then yes I'm pro all the way, but when it comes down to catching animals and getting a few quid well....Theres not that many real pro's... although theres some on here that are...how many would compete with the likes of moley for catching moles ? Or pegandgun/glenn/woodga for snaring ? Yes theres many more, more than competent... But were do you draw the line between basically amateur and pro ? Anyway... I'm just having some banter... .... Can't be that thriving if you need to advertise on here..you know one of the types with all the bitching members..... Hey what is a pro anyway Matt, just through curiosity, and how does someone elevate themself to this status... Theres quite a few pro's these days, surely someone getting paid for a job doesn't make them pro , pro road sweeper, pro toilet attendant... How come anyone who works for a living doesn't stick pro in front of there job title ?

A well placed fenn will normally catch the upper part of the rabbit, head & chest. There isnt much meat i worry about there, this is for the ferrets and the Meaty end. ie the back half is for me, everybodys happy Yep agree 100% moxy..

I've left fenns rusty, painted, dipped in formula one... Makes no difference whatsoever... I've left bodygrips rusty and dipped, I prefer them dipped, but only through personal choice, it wouldn't stop them working or killing at all to be left, bodygrips soon dull down when you remove the grease and leave them out...

They can help, red IMO is the best, and can get you some more bunnies in the bag, although it does drastically reduce the range of the beam... They still become shy of the filters after a period of time though..

Agree P&G, theres areas with high rabbit populations that have been overlamped by guns, dogs and poaching..... You can't touch them by lamping, there gone as soon as the beams on, then theres the difficult areas like dense woodland, bramble strips, embankments,etc.... Think Its probably better to get a pickup anyway and 100 cage traps and a ton of carrots in a dumpy bag... then borrow whins great white sharks to mop up the survivors
