  15. Hey Chalkwarren thanks for the compliment, highly skilled technician..ooootch aaa... I'll send that cheque down in the post... Hey my point was as you said Phil... its hard to get a point across sometimes, distinguishing between something thats simple when shown and takes minutes/hours and something thats highly complicated and takes years... Regarding Glenn, he's a national treasure, and I'm sure myself and everyone else out there appreciates everything he has done for snaring and trapping in this country, hes a good guy one of the old school...like duckwing says everyone on here and involv
  16. I just wired mine direct to the main battery under the passenger seat rhyan, haven't had any problems at all...
  17. Leave poor Glenn out of it, bad man... ... Your like a politician duckwing avoiding giving answers... Its like anything my point, people don't instantly know how to drive a car, or make a cake, they are shown and there simple things not hard to do...the same as snaring...but like I said rocket science is a different subject altogether... here endeth my interest in this topic..
  18. Some of the lads duckwing.... well I'm sure I could say the same about them...whatever their gripe being, but I know the usual suspects..Its better to rise above it, and avoid them seven deadly sins, I mainly walk my own path its safer.. Hey I took 1000 out of 250 pegs in a day... emptying them morning, dinner, tea and night... I only believe what I see, talk is oh so cheap mate, but its not about numbers for me..it was once, now I just like being out..like today, just plodding about, having a cuppa, helping on farm, checking me snares, popping the odd bunnies and just generally chilling
  19. Both do the job but in a different way Kobi, get some of each to cover all the bases...
  20. Duckwing your missing the point, anyone can learn to snare and succesfully catch rabbits albeit they may not be the best...but you try getting the same person to spend years dedicated to learning a subject that doesn't take minutes.. I hope people understand what I'm saying by that... Anyway moving on... Glenns a friend, who has learnt many many people and how the hell did he get brought into it... ... Can I ask you an inquisitive question Duckwing, if you've hunted snared and trapped for 32 year... how did you ever catch anything before talking to Glenn, if its that hard ?..... What did
  21. C'mon John .. Git big pits, snares and big dirty wooden sticks were the first things learnt by modern man in his quest for some primetime hairy burger... Now some of the video footage I have here, courtesy of phil...people could learn a lot from...sure would stop all them shiny bright snares being used...thats called experience...and everyone can learn from it...
  22. Duckwing its like anything, if someone wants to learn something enough they will, and they will put the time into it... No ones taking anything away from Glenn, hes the daddy!! MY point being once you are shown something or spend enough time and learn the mistakes yourself, you realise its not hard... Mole trapping, rabbit trapping, snaring, longnetting, its second nature once you've done it, nothing much deviates... Ps I've hardly been spoon fed... like everyone in the world, we are not blessed with inbuilt knowledge, its about getting out and doing it.....Peg snares you go and stick them
