I could be wrong mate, but even if you “stream” or record terrestrial tv like BBC, ITV, you still need a license. If you only watch the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc you don’t need a license. It’s a minefield, mate. I understand we are the only country in the world that has a television tax, and now we are the only country in the world with an education tax, since Labour put VAT on private schools. Do you watch bbc 1 mate . If so then you probably need to pay it but I don't really watch normal tv Chanel's but we don't pay a tv licence . Had them nock my door told them we only watch itv or stuff through internet like Netflix etc. no more tv licence . Haven't for a few years now .
