  2. It says “ they have pledged to close 82 million INACTIVE accounts”. I don’t know mate, my wife’s cousin is married to a Vietnamese, I’ll be seeing them shortly, I’ll ask if she knows what’s going on Cheers.
  3. I understand what your saying mate, tho 86 million is alot of dormant accounts, they couldn't all be dormant, that last thing I put up said 1 in 2 people were hesitant to do the biometrics.
  4. Yes mate, I read the article and what I got from it was they didn’t say you have to give your biometrics or we close your account. It looked like they were closing dormant or dodgy accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I’m dead set against central digital currency and banking, I think it’s too authoritarian and too open to abuse by a corrupt government. Ive got a couple of dormant accounts, I keep meaning to close them, and for sure the banks will eventually contact me and say they have been suspended or closed. Cheers.
  5. What's up mush?seen your confused emoji

  8. Bank accounts flushed, airports make biometrics mandatory All signs suggest Vietnam will have to get used to biometrics and stronger digital authentication. The country has been working to tighten its digital payment regulations, and, according to VietnamNet, to “actively strengthen legal and institutional frameworks to support the development of cashless payments.” Part of this is purging the country of unverifiable bank accounts; as of June, it had pledged to close 86 million inactive bank accounts by September. Moreover, starting December 1, biometric check-in will be mandatory at

  10. I think that just like me they go to work to make as much money as they can to fund the lifestyle they want, my wife is an accountant for the NHS and the money they make from private work far exceeds what the NHS pays
  11. It says I the article there's 200,000,000 bank account charts,an 86 mill of them haven't been biometrically verified
  12. There been loads of problems with the NHS for many years now through different governments saying they ploughing money and training up people to for nurses and doctors you still get the same old problem NHS is rock bottom no money comes a cross if it does it's just barely covers anything
  13. My Mrs has developed sudden severe pain and swelling on her knee. The doc reckons it's osteoarthritis. So knee replacement. She's had an x ray. But because it's not urgent, there's a 6 week turnaround just for the result. Then a 2 year wait for the op. We are in our 70s, so haven't got that time to f**k about . We are going private.... £ 17 grand plus. I'm in the same boat . Need an op on my foot... 2 year wait. So 6 grand for me for private op. There is a concept of the social contract or social compact between citizens and government. But government has totally reneged on it. Don

  16. Mate, genuine question, have you ever seen what a neck shot looks like on a real human being up close and personal ?……if the answer is no then sit down. And I don’t mean that in an aggressive or argumentative way, it’s just some wisdom.
  17. That house prices would return to the 50s/60s and everyone would get a brand spanking new house and their standard of living would go up.
  18. First I hope your wife gets the care needed abd makes a full recovery mate.. Secondly, I know your pain only too well.. My wife has had some terrible times in the system over the past 15 years, too many to list and some I still can't believe...one being a nurse putting the wrong blood type up for a transfusion, luckily my wife knows her type and argued., refusing her to administer the blood (which could of killed her), and eventually a senior nurse got the correct blood along with a lot of grovelling ... we've spent a lot of time travelling to London (St Marks) as it offered the best ca

  22. Perhaps if the same consultant and others like him who work for the NHS weren’t moonlighting in private practice, concentrated on there NHS day jobs the waiting lists wouldn’t be so long ? Just a thought. I hope your wife makes a speedy and full recovery Cheers.
  23. That's the problem with NHS it's all waiting and wondering unfortunately your not royalty
  24. My wife has been in hospital for a couple of days with severe abdominal pain, now they think they know what it is but need to do an investigative procedure, so she’s put on the list, estimated time for this to be done is 15 months, now she can’t be in this amount of pain for over a year so we looked at private, we have now got a pre assessment next Wednesday with the same consultant that would be doing it on the NHS and the procedure to be done in around 3 weeks at a cost of around 6k, now we are lucky to be in a position to go private but how many other people are suffering for years before a
