Did our yearly trip to the Fraser, was a brutal trip to be fair with it pissing down, cold and windy most of the 4 days we were there. Only had two small salmon and no sturgeon over the first 3 days, but got into fish on the last day fishing the harrison rive. We ended up with a couple of salmon and 4 sturgeon over 6ft on day four, biggest 2 went 7ft 8" and 7ft 3"

There’s a lot of extremely talented players who excel at the “floor” level but can’t make the adjustment to stepping up to the stage, televised level. When my missus was about to play her first televised semi final, the BDO took her and her opponent on stage and explained about the camera movements and the echo from the mikes behind the board etc. She needed a couple of vodka and cokes before playing, which wouldn’t be allowed now, of course Cheers.

It would be nice to see her do well and earn a few bob. It would encourage other females to enter the sport. And since she obviously trains at Greggs, other women of similar stature, won't be psyched out by the emaciated model types. It's good to see darts having a resurgence.
