No, genuinely, if it was like some historic African name then that’s relevant to you and I’d think “oh, that’s pretty smart” But I dont know what possible relevance a Gaelic name could have to you…..it’s not relevant to you or your history or your ancestors…..there’s no connection. I know you Americans like to get all excited about history because you don’t have any but you all came from somewhere and that is your history…..and, and this is just a wild stab in the dark, I’m guessing your ancestors didn’t come from Donegal ! lol

What's your experience with nail bed infections?
Moocher71 replied to Luckee legs's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Why the ? I've never had a dog suffer with nail infection other than my old sal whippet ripped his dew claw and after that I just wrapped them before running him . I always clean my dogs feet with warm water and salt but I've also used Dettol and I just soak dogs feet in it and this normally gets all the muck around the nails , I posted skycat because she wrote a book on running dog maintenance and she's very knowledgeable when it comes to running dogs I'm sure you will have the cure MC and no need for vets etc ,we all come to you from now on -
I've Welsh blood on my dad's side.

just out of interest why was he called as expert witness? When a court calls for such people it's for expert forensics scientists to give their opinion on the evidence found etc or something along them lines,so did the court call him as a expert in hunting ? If so that's not exactly him being a grass is it ? I'm not saying it's ok to go court and give evidence and it's something I'd be ever do but if he ain't gon to the police giving statements about someone but was called as a expert in that field it's totally different thing is it not ?

The shame is, nobody learns things until they are older, some learn quicker than others….im not one of those ! lol I always have great admiration for these young switched on types who are smart from a young age and think bigger than lads like me did at a similar age. If I was a young man again and had the smarts to predict the future I’d have bought myself a place abroad years ago and just commuted or used the internet better or some such thing……I’d have been caked ! As it was, I was flat out and just did what eveeyine does…..would I do the same ?, the work yes but the hou

Funny having this yap with my lad earlier.. He's 20 in a couple of weeks, worked for me for just over a year full time, worked in the Co-op whilst he was at college and bits for me in summer holidays etc...he has saved bloody hard, he is into his finances and has money in stocks and shares etc (most of his yap goes over my head lol)... anyway, through all his own work he's got enough for a deposit on a 2 bed house.. we take no rent off him for living home, and he gets hos grub etc...because imo him saving is what it's about, I'll help as much as possible, but they've got to help themselve

Bruh thinks cos it's took him 70 year to pay off a bedsit and then buy a canoe for the last 5 years of his life he's cracked it, proper success story.

It's the reality of most people, of course on here it's completely different isn't it, the joys of cyber life.
-
This is why some people are just designed to be compliant and keep on the hamster wheel, he can’t see life without properly ownership it’s a form of brainwashing if you don’t own more your worth less we’re as in truth throwing off the trappings and releasing yourself is priceless I’d rather live in a van and do what I want when I want than own a house and be told what to do for 40 years it’s just different mindsets for different people and unless you get it you never will until it’s to late
-
If that’s the reality you’ve come to live in that’s fine. There’s people breaking the mould every day and doing things different and better. You’ve made your choice and good for you

Think I would encourage any young man/woman or couple to try and make a life in New Zealand. I know a young man well he was young when he moved out there he must be close to fifty now, still young in my eyes. He was a tree surgeon (wood butcher) but he has done well. Saw him a while back when he was over here, was telling me how good the fishing and hunting was and life in general, Rivers are clean good climate. Europe and the West is f****d imo. Migrants, wars law and order starting to break down, the government out to take what you have earned away from you. All ways thought New Zealand

Cracking size boat mate fair play

But you are still going to have to borrow at some point, the equity from a shithole will help out but if you want to then move in to a nice area with a nice house, you will be knocking at the banks door.
-
No but what they can do is what most people I reckon here did. Buy a small place to start off and fix it up then move to a bigger place use the value to their advantage rather than wanting a dream home straight off the bat and being hoodwinked into crippling debt by fancy pictures and salesmen
