I had a Saudi iqama, resident permit, that’s fine with me, a foreigner in their country. I was born in England and got by for 73 years without carrying “papers” , why should I need them now ? Cheers.

I’m irish and live in Ireland but also have a NI number and claim a UK pension and also own property in the UK but my driving licence and whatever else is all Irish. And I’d bet there’s a sizeable number of people in the same boat as me how do you police that?

I’ve got a birth certificate, a driving license, a passport, a bus pass, a NI number, a NHS number, what more do I need to identify myself ? If they insist on this digital ID, why not just give it to immigrants ? I don’t need it. Cheers.
