Recommended Posts

wild boars are my key quarry.

i have just set up my tree stand, camera and dropped down 300lb of apples.

wild boar have been quite an hunting experience.i had one sow think about charging me,so she got plugged

and i had one stripey baby go to attack me after i had shot it.

if things go alreet this coming few months i will start my own thread.

i have got drawn for cow elk this year also.

a whitetail will also be plugged for the freezer

Go back in time and hunt Thylacine, just to make doubley sure they are wiped out.

Why would you want to make sure any animal is wiped out?

Black humour, they already are wiped out due to persercution and pointless hunting by heros.

Me too. He wrote a book American Buffalo which is an excellent read IMHO.

My favorite game animal remains Black Bear. Maybe it'll be Brown Bear or Mountain Lion some day. But it's blacks for me right now. What I like about them is they are smart and curious and just a pleasure to watch. When you go into the brush after a wounded one you get a look at what they really are. But otherwise they just go about their business like they own the place.

Hunting Bushpig and Servil with dogs is great fun and nice trophey to boot. SA gets into your blood and once there its like a Spirochaete infection, it cannot be got rid of.

what dogs do you use for cervil hunting.

They are hunted with blue tick hounds, the same dogs are used for Caracal, Leopard and pigs etc, all very exciting stuff if your into dog work and shooting.

Why can't you post pics? Do you not know how? It's easy enough and plenty of us would love to see them!
