But we can try prevent injury at times. Like knocking the dogs feet up on hard ground. Running them when we've had f**k all rain. Fair enough if you run them on pastured or marsh land. But say you find a new spot that's got good numbers. You walk the land first. Have a mooch about. See what's what. Hopefully it's cush no one about nice and quiet. You'll spot areas that may look dodgy to run. You normally see tracks where quarry has been using. Like that Scotty ran with big old lumps of stone I'd have given that a wide birth. A know plenty of pastured land. Was up Dishforth other week with a pal of mine. Just because we all don't want to come on and show and tell like we're in f***ing nursery pal. Many on here have put there boots up now , don't go out but still come on. Many decent men. But you get the odd f***ing idiot. It's there way or no way. Then they have a few followers.
