No pics , this was back in the 60’s and 70’s. I was there many times, were you ?

Why do you contradict things that men have seen and done before you were born ?

You come across like a spoilt child desperate to be right.

Ive avoided getting involved in your nonsense for a while but sadly have been sucked in again .
I’ll gladly reply and converse with others on this thread, but I’ll not be replying to you, it’s pointless.

Cheers.

Hes an impudent sprog u reckon

A hundred or 150 yd slip on slop with a strong hare ears back to cover 800 yds away no greybound born is bending it lol

Pure greys dont bend strong winter hares on wet land lol

You never seen a grey try ?

He's not saying that. He's saying from the slip the greyhound to you greybound. Name Bound because it's bound to leave the saluki grey for dust on the first 100 yard. Not 150 yards. He said 100 yards. Stop moving the goal posts.

They don't run on mud they would. wait until its  good going

They will run on mud  under rules it’s just me , I never wanted my dogs bogged down and wouldn’t waste time n money to watch a mud bath race , mud blunts speed it levels it out for a slower dog , u get dogs to run the terrain close to you and the conditions the ground is in for 4 months of year  which is why you got to stick to dogs that can plough on , I liked speed  and action so well drained land winter wheat rape in stubble is what I preferred to see the runs on it’s all to do with what we like eh mate

I don't need a thermal mate. Last few hours of the day. The hares are moving about. Not shy with the slips. If I think that the dog can gain ground on the hare before it can get off the blocks into cover. The dogs getting slipped. Best time late afternoon.

I know it is your a man surrounded by whippets greys and grews and your talking 60s ? Just get one make me look daft  im talking now the coursing greys of then aint they dogs of today ill get some pics from then of them chalky.and cheese

Im a spoilt  child ? Your trying to tell me something I've seen over and over again And spitting ya dummy out when i don't agree what planet are you on thats how a child acts ive see that everyday aswell

Calm down calm down lad i know how charts feels it’s called pissing against the wind lol if charts posts up I would say it’s based 100 💯 facts I remember other year when he stated yards and seconds for you it’s plainly obvious it’s all based on years of being in the game  , the coursing greys from years ago ain’t the same today  it’s a banned sport so only runs are in Ireland and over ther the dogs have turned into bigger more powerful run up machines not realy for the turn if that helps  when I attend all breed meets over here I never see a pure sal stop one in the field it was slipped in infact I never see anything as they all ran out of sight  that’s dosnt mean they can’t on different bigger  land I see purpose bred sal x stop everything  in field of slip , I see whippets provide best sport on same land and stop more than the pures  so do I walk away thinking whippets are better as u can’t generalise from wat i seen on certain days  ? Course I don’t as Salukis wernt for the terrain that day , other times on other bigger land  they stopped  em all out of sight tho but the modern coursing bred greyhound was a purpose bred run up machine far quicker than anything I’ve seen  it didn’t resemble a track grey or a coursing bred it looked bred for that purpose of incredible speed  and no it wasn’t on slop but in ground that had give in it

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
