Rain over here till early hours 85% we need a good few weeks. Once i start to see the river up water coming from off the tops. Then the ground will be ready. We need alot more than two three days.

Like that Scotty ran with big old lumps of stone I'd have given that a wide birth.

What about these lads that run the rocks letting there runners hunt up running the rocks often running miles to get on something then putting a terrier to ground in places that most wouldn't it takes a special kind of mutt to do what they do and a handler who has every confidence in his dogs and every credit to them because if they didn't they wouldn't get a run you can tell dogs that know how to run and those that have been held back bangers you can look at any field and see danger if the opportunity arises take it wether that's a slip or a dig because the chance won't come again you have to run the gauntlet and take the chance

We're not talking about dogs that are bred for that kind of work. I'm talking about dogs that are bred for coursing. Yet again chicken or the f***ing egg. Don't try turn the comments im putting about. Day time coursing bred dogs. From generations of breedings of day to day coursing dogs. Not night to night lamping f***ing dogs. This is what I'm getting at. Always trying to turn conversations from the fact that I'm talking about coursing. Not f***ing all round lurcher work. Lurcher that can stand at the side of a warren , lamp a few rabbits , run the odd hare a few yards before the hare pulling away , knocking a mucky roe over  or a rusty.  I'm. Talking about a pure out and out day time coursing f***ing hare dog. FFS.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
