Iv been in construction 45 years and never seen so many Monday Mongs on site as in the last couple of years what a f***ing waste of money

Never had anything to do with that stuff and I never would drugs is not for me don't believe in wasting money onstuff like that every thing is expensive as it is lucky to be still in a job taking that crap I know what alot of firms would do get rid of you if on that crap or anything else

I’m 53 and know a load of guys my age had or still have major issues with it. Coke was about when I was younger but it’d be mostly ecstasy and maybe speed that we’d take (late 80’s early 90’s).

Taken it plenty but infrequently back then, but thankfully by the time it hit in a big way I was starting a family and out the road of it. I get why people use so much, but it’s the road to ruin for many. Fcuk knows how bad it’ll be in years to come.

One of the reasons I've let all my tickets go...every site you go on... your constantly carrying lazy cnuts...if it's not the boys on the ground,it's the slimy office lot too...try and hang you out to dry...to cover their own arses...not for me anymore

It seems to be an acceptable habit these days going on what I see in the company I work for in logistics with a few individuals who participate in this expensive habit and it seems from what I can gather companies don't seem to implement zero drug policies these days due to any one testing positive for drugs and their suspension affecting the running of the business.

It’s an epidemic …. I’ve been through it and out the other side …. Became normalised around something enough it becomes acceptable next thing you know it’s got it’s hooks in you and once there in f**k it’s a hard one 

sites are rampant up here with it that and the offshore lads they have a real struggle when they come into recovery and tbh without quitting or taking a substantial period of work there unlikely to get stay sober 

it’s all about harm reduction rather than complete abstinence the way the services are helping but when you go to your doctor and he just gives you Valium and tells you to cut down there’s not much support or help there that’s where a 12 step program comes in

been 2 years since I touched it and see when I here young lads talking about it today doesn’t sound like cocaine feck knows what it’s cut with but there all going into serious psychosis and if they go onto the pipe that’s a whole new level

Fekin madness mate it's not as though it's a cheap habit and a few of them i have worked with they have more tapp than a blind man's walking stick even sadder is when their immediate family like partners and kid's start to suffer due to this expensive habit.

Like anything in life from a bottle of beer to a burger if you can’t take it or leave it then you should really cut them out. I’ve never taken cocaine but have been around it abit through one thing or another and I’ll say this. Over the years I’ve seen people chuck their lives away with drink or gambling or whatever and everyone one of them I just always had a feeling they were running from something and just wanted to hit the off button and I reckon this cocaine is the very same. During the 80s in Dublin there was concerned citizens groups set up to deal with the heroin epidemic that’s is still on going and with the help of the republican movement they were knocking dealers doors and moving them out. The government and Gardai jailed some of the leaders of the groups and shut them down and that taught me drug problems in an area are let happen to keep people in their place. I hope anyone who’s struggling gets the help they need and come out on the other side better and wiser men because their really is no future in it

I’m thinking of f***ing the site work off iv had a bit of time off lately and think I just can’t do the bullshit anymore there’s no appreciation & carrying lads half my age Mondays are the worse lads staring into oblivion f****d up from the weekend depressed can’t even talk just waiting for the next payday to sniff it all away on the weekend

It's not just young lads dai I'm 54 and there's lads I went to school with dabbling at weekends with coke I know for some they lost everything homes marriage etc but the young lads take it to far and I let a young lad go because he went from a hard worker who was quick to pick things up and learn to a lazy liability shame he was a nice lad hes awaiting a operation on his stomach now due to ketamin I tried to tell me countless times were he was heading

My last job was working with people with addiction,the amount of people I used to see and from all walks of life ,a lot who take coke really believe it's ok to do it because it's the in drug ,

It turns people into scum bags that don't give a toss about anyone not even themselves in the end .

This government like the last spends millions on immigrants, Ukraine etc but what they should be doing is spending money to help fix the problems we the British people have ,
