It's becoming a more regular conversation with my wife mate, we don't live a bad life, but, the money we have tied up.or liquid could go a mile further elsewhere and the standard of living could be better... I love where I live for many reasons, but its chamging fast...there is an itch and now the kids are adults it makes you think about scratching it a lot more

It’s funny how the place your born leaves a mark on you. I’ve spent years back and forth to London there was probably a time I had spent as much time there as I had in Ireland but there was never a question in my mind where home was you probably know how that feels WILF. It’s funny too how back in the late 70s/80s as an Irishman in England I would of considered myself completely different to the English lads and we were from completely different worlds due to what was going on at the time and now with all this immigration and government bollocks it seems after all the years we will end up fighting the same battle

Ive just spent a bit of time in Ireland and in all honesty i just cant believe how much its changed.....visited a couple of old dog pals whos's places i havent been to in close to 20 years one just outside Dublin the other about 100 miles to the West....i was shocked,i enjoyed my times in Ireland years ago always found it a peaceful and pleasant place to be but no more,i couldnt wait to get home truth be told.....seems like nowhere in Europe has escaped the invasion of third world shit, i fully expected it in Dublin itself but not in near every other town we went through it saddened me in many ways.....never mind Ireland being Irish or England being English it just seems theres nowhere that Europeans can just be left alone to be European anymore !

I know what you mean mate although you're a bit younger than me im just starting to look at things from a more " senior " perspective i suppose  ....the wife is a bit younger than me so might not be her last move but i wouldnt like to end life with regrets.....its not a money thing or even a standard of living thing really.....just like you say an itch i havent had the courage to scratch yet if im honest.
