I did, she’s coming up 13 now, she’s provided me with some cracking days out, half bred Hancock, Arthur was her sire

She was a tidy enough wee bitch, ferreted had a good nose on her and took her fair share of feather  also wasn't shy at taking roe. Got caught up at a fence retrieving a hare by some young Aberdeen An

I've a first cross border collie greyhound, over a long time with various collie crosses he is the only Hancock I've owned. He's significantly bigger than the rest i've had which were all border cross

Yes David is still alive,

I've herd people slag him, say his dogs was crap, kennels shit, peddler etc

But a lot of lads and lasses got pups from him and went back for more and some wouldn't have anything else but Hancock bred lurchers,

I believe they went back because with David they new what they was getting, if you wanted a first x or a 3 quarter bred they new that's exactly what they was getting,

Seen some great ones and some less so. I like them and as said you knew exactly what you were getting. Lots of blood from dogs out of his kennels in a lot of Lurchers walking around today.

Sally produced their last litter about 2 years ago, I think.

Didn't you have a 1/4 beardie 1/4 border x greyhound off one of his earlier stud dogs?

Maybe I'm getting you mixed up with another member on here?

5/8 3/8  never had a 1/2 pal unless iv put 1/4 1/4 instead of 1/8 by mistake 🤣🤣 sure his sire was called luke a half grey 1/4 beardie 1/4 border . Thought about half a few times but the 1st Cross's I've seen just lacked that bit of a xtra gear. And I went border beardie for 2nd Cross as the straight border 2nd crosses id seen of his like outta that storming Norman ended up around 27/28/29 inch and were hit n miss
