Drove through forestry and native bush in this ancient pick up in New Zealand;

Stopped of over night in hunters cabins, and again, never got stuck once.

Had the odd mishap, but nothing we couldn’t handle;

Still , The Great Nafud and The Empty Quarter, two of the most inhospitable deserts in the world arent as dangerous as the arable flatland of Yorkshire !

They have an old saying in Oz,if you want to go out into the bush..take a land rover...if you want to get back...take a land cruiser ...if you know...then you know...

I've seen more knob heads bogged down and plugged in the mud in land rovers,of every carnation ,than any other truck..there's drivers,and then theres screwdrivers...

Then tonight I'm 5 mile each way on beach fast 

Unlike pretend dog men I know I need to be conditioned for the season 

I can't drop out a motor and think I'm doing 15 20 mile in the slop no sweat lol
