Cheers mate , I add a couple of hours yesterday at teatime. Didn’t even get a bite , but I did get talking to one old boy who said there is not much in that stretch and put me onto a different bit to try . I did see fish , quite big and was bream apparently. I also got sick of the constant alcoholics and crackheads walking the towpaths, just wrong uns. But I did see this nice peace of art work.

There's an area near me beautiful area. Then just under bridge behind this bush area junky c**ts in and out. A looked over little bridge birds eye view. And behind the bush f***ing loads of needles. Told council but done f**k all about it. Some nice barbel , trout , & chub. But paranoid now about putting my into water.

Had an hour yesterday morning with a mate, but his reel broke. We tried the canal again. Luckily I had the catty  in my pocket and dropped a woodie so at least didn't blank lol. I think that canal is a bit naff tbh. Been watching a YouTuber called zombie bite fishing. Anyway  I recognized a river he was doing that wasn't far from my gaff. So thought I'd give that a go at 1st light as it seems a popular spot, so I thought get there at daybreak.  Hence up now to chill and walk dog

I may be wrong Dan, but joined a Facebook group which is a club on this particular river and they are posting catching trout spinning with lures so I presumed was all above board ? Am probably wrong but thought I'd ask ? Cheers
