I subscribe to the "Ceasars Wife" idiom; If you are in a posistion of power, or able to influence those in power, you must be above suspicion ! If the government are flouting rules and laws

Tories ignoring the rule of Law…..One rule for them?

Boris diluting the separation of Powers……mmmm….

The G8 summit summed it up for me....all masks and social distancing until the cameras were turned off, then its hugs and drinks all round. It shows how stupid and removed from reality they are that they will deny it. Party in downing Street and every fcker will deny and pass the buck. If Boris just said "yeah, I let junior members of staff have a little gathering, they said it would be a small socially distanced tea and cake, unfortunately they invited a few to many, I'm going to bang heads together". Then everyone would just shrug their shoulders and move on.

As I've said before, I would love to know how many mps, doctors and advisors have actually had the the jab.

If anyone in power told me it was raining I'd go out and check ?☑️

Same with that little Golf Club turnout over here, a whole bunch of them at “a meeting” at the height of the pandemic and in the middle of full lock down.

That just seemed to fade away mysteriously! Lol

It's ALWAYS been one rule for them, another for the rest of us, that's why they become politicians, and it not just the Tories; remember Kinnocks  MP son travelling hundreds of miles to give his dad a birthday present during lockdown, or that scots woman MP that travelled from Scotland to London and back by train, when she knew shad covid !

They are all as bad as each other.

What pissed me off was Kier Starmmer using up his questions at PMQ's asking Boris about a Xmas party that happened last year.

The country is in lockdown, Covid is STILL running rampant, overseas travel is all but impossible, Russia is getting ready to invade Ukraine, China is getting ready to invade Taiwan, thousands of illegal immigrants are crossing the channel with impunity........but Sir Kier is more interested in scoring political points talking about a Christmas party that happened last year.

Talk about priorities........

Cheers.

to get on a plane for a few days away you have to fill out a plf form and have proof of jab or a neg test --- to fly back you have to have a test and self isolate till the result and fill out a plf form ... to go to football with 30,000 plus people you have to wear a paper mask ,

Take a rubber dingy home mate, you can just come into the country buckshee then ! Lol

Done the travelling thing already mate, so know the deal with that, unless it's changed. Obviously partially depends on the location countries regulations but didn't strictly require a vaccination when I went, but made it much easier.

This new "drug crackdown" is more bluster.

They will phone any number on a dealers phone to let them know.

Wouldnt it be more of a deterrent to turn up at the houses of those people , team handed, with riot gear, dogs and the "big red key" at five in the morning  if they REALLY wanted to deter them from contacting dealers ?

Just more smoke and mirrors from Priti Patel.

Cheers.
