Don’t forget, many of these are 2nd and 3rd generation pakis……they haven’t just rocked up from Islamabad ! You can imagine the lads in Pakistan looking at it and saying - f**k me lada let’s get to the uk, they all worship and give money to a religion / church that makes child abuse an institutionalised organised pastime ! It not only gave them access, it gave them power to indulge themselves. However, what I will say is that we are a Christian continent and the attack on our institutions has been an attack on ourselves. Did the institutions provide a massive open goal?….absolutely and they exacerbated the problem by not throwing open the doors and allowing the law to do their job. However, they know that the law is not really the law, it’s the instrument of the state and they know that state was out to get them. In getting them they know they are getting us. When we relinquish our common bonds of faith and our cultural Christian history we become nothing. Its a massive double edge sword…..I think they are disgusting and I have nothing to do with them but I also know the inherent risks in adopting such a mindset. Edited to add: If you want to see something really disgusting then see an old picture of a kid of 8 digging peat in bare feet while every tin pot village has a church that would have cost the equivalent of millions in todays money ! The power of the Catholic Church in Ireland has to be seen to be believed and god know what it was like years ago ! But, you then contrast that with my friend in England who was catholic priest, had worked in he. NHS, had been married and lost his wife to cancer, had children and grandchildren of his own before entering the priesthood One of the kindest most noble human beings I have ever met, intelligent, interesting. You could sit and talk theology or literature or just the nature of men for hours with him, a wonderful man who sadly lost his own battle with cancer last year. Faith is NOT the church.
