No views to share, just a sorry tale from work yesterday. Travelled from Gateshead to Scarborough for a site visit approx 5 hour round trip depending on traffic. Parked at Washington services and got picked up by a work colleague in the interests of saving the planet. Had a good day, site visit very productive and had the opportunity to catch up with an old friend and nice to have a break from driving.

Got back to Washington services and luckily my friend went inside to get a sandwich rather than driving straight off. It was only then that I realised that the jacket I was wearing was not the one that I had travelled down in. That one had been hung up in the site office in Scarborough and was I wearing a hi-viz jacket from site. My car and house keys were in the pocket of the jacket left behind. DOH!

I did consider pm'ing mr. Mackem and ask if he could fly over and get me into the house but ended up calling a locksmith I know to get in. Had spare car key in the house. My mate has since let the world and his dog know about my "senior moment"

I thought he was going to say he got to Birtley services and his car had been twocked or broken into,lol.
