Pipe in and backfilled, back tomorrow to concrete inside the house and reinstate the path, can’t do it today because we’ve put 2 days in for this and I’ve just seen the plumbers quote so we’ll be definitely taking 2 days out of it

This isn’t the full job, it’s £1400 for us to put the main in the house and reinstate everything, then the plumber has about half a day running the copper in from the alkathene, then the joiner has got some boxing in and the floor to repair, the bill is over 4 grand, moral of the story is, never ring a plumber if your leak is on the main

Its an old family business mate, one side is his bed company 40 tear old firm, the other side is hos furniture company.. he's now bought the middle unit so is knocking holes through into the 2 other show rooms and it will become one big furniture showroom..

Some of the beds are over £10k with a mattress, proper top of the range stuff... no idea on makes or models, I've been keeping the wife a very long way away from.this job!! Lol

Nice mate, fair play to him to keep going and growing, it’s a hard market to compete in.

Ive had a few pals with decent, long standing firms pack up in the last few years but they were commercial/office interiors rather than domestic…..what with working from home and business keeping their money in the bank then add all the extra taxes they just couldn’t see a future.

Furnitures a hard one because you need such big square footage to start with and that’s a big expense as you know.

Nice to see a lad pushing on and doing well.
