Beautiful day this morning. Cheers Arry

Sewer survey team pulled up in their van to look at some drains for us.....now I don't know if it was already dead or if he was driving so fast he went straight over it....but it must of gone with a pop as it's guts were up a wall 10ft away.

We amused ourselves for hours by telling horrified shoppers and passers bye to be careful of the injured rat as the rspca were on their way to help it 🤣

Mental this lot, I said to them, you need to burn all the timber I’ve taken out because there’s a lot more to come out, so they haven’t done it and said to me today would I do it, so they have paid me £20 an hour to have a fire and load plasterboard in the skip 🤷🏻‍♂️ some people have more money than sense

At £20 an hour i hope you first burnt the wood ,then loaded up the plaster board and didn't load up the plaster board whilst the fire was burning. Unattended fires are dangerous boss.:whistling:.. Brass taps on those rads outside and bet there's a bit in that old boiler to, all adds up Stav ..

I don’t know why but it doesn’t sit well with me when I feel like I’m just taking peoples money and they are not getting what they are paying for, I fixed the fire surround in the caravan, repaired a drinker and cut the mats for the stables for her, I thought “ your paying me anyway so I might as well do a few bits “

As it goes i'm the same, can't sort of sit around and drag it out i got to be busy and any pound no matter what you do is hard earned so i do try to give value for the customers pound. I myself have just fitted a woodburner into a hobit type hut/garden house and stayed behind late this evening for a delivery of the chimney hat so i could set the fire up and the customer just had to light a match when she got back, had a picture and a lovely message sent to me from a very happy lady..It's sometimes the little touches, fare to say...:victory:..
