Veiw from your office

Yeah, it cleans really easy, with all the other natural stones they are porous so the dirt get into the stone but porcelain isn’t so it’s just on the surface, just don’t drop anything on it because it chips easily

I think the kid who quoted me is pretty steep tbh, 200 quid per m2 but that includes some sleeper edgings and a couple of planters.

Sandstone will end up full of algae and black spots though won't it though I do bet porcelain is a death trap for a dizzy lurcher. Lol

You let that pup of yours, run around on that stuff, and mark my words, you will need more than a bone man ...you can use a clear sealer on the sandstone, stops algae etc growing on it...give it a coat every 5 yrs, keeps it looking new👍DSC_4033.JPG.61b6fec7050b0f807dbe06c1772dc06c.JPGDSC_4108.JPG.eba3fbf910c9452afb8468d727769f48.JPGDSC_4109.JPG.383436dae470840b63393be1fbd86235.JPG

I was just taking a bit of a guess because I stay away from it, I might have to have a go for £150 m2 😁👍

The more you do,then the quicker you will learn to lay it...with someone mixing for you,you can hit out 50m2/75m2 a day piece of piss...that's a decent daily wage...

My personal favourite is the block paving...£100 M2...make  10 k a day👍DSC_0390.JPG.b302c025893de4d7bce400ac79940293.JPGDSC_0391.JPG.e9108f7a2a456223899a76434634a646.JPG

Something to have a laugh at, particularly from the the lads who believe that they are crucified by H&S in construction in the UK. Behold, this is what some of my lads need to wear on one of our jobs.

Long story short, some idiot drove his machine into electrical containment. I would get sacked if too much information was given so keeping it brief. After a month of back and forth, due to the location and function of the location it was agreed to carry out the work.

My previso? Full arc flash PPE must be worn.

I have carried out similar work many times over the years. The fact that I'm not dead is dumb luck. Also been exposed to asbestos many times, that's just a lottery, time will tell. Few of the men that I started work with made old bones past retirement age. Once worked at a formica factory installing sub-sonic transducers wearing wet weather fishing gear and was stopped by lads who turned up wearing spacemen outfits :-).

It is my fault that the lads are wearing this shit, very expensive shit. But the Client paid for it. And the lads are safe.

where was the banksman?

There was not a banksman before the incident. A functional working environment that had a traffic management plan in place. That failed. Now they have banksmen, for the duration of our works anyway.
