Not a pet hate as such but just something that I seen on TV and thought was disgraceful. An ad for a jewellery retailer. A young kid buying jewellery for their mam, the message being put in kids heads, and possibly feeble minded women, if you love your mam then show it through buying her jewellery. Shocking!

I get that. Have always found women who covet "diamonds" more interesting than those who are into fitted kitchens. And you pay the price. But not right to target children with that crap...

... however, diamonds hold their value, fitted kitchens need to be updated every few years.
