I lived and breathed them from running all corners of this land from Devon to the highlands the dogs brought me many highlights and a few lows they cost me  a divorce a house and a few quid else were

Stags in the meanest country Scotland can offer.

They fecking do on sundays, it's like a old 4x4 convention at times round me....

Hunting wise in the UK as I only run dogs and ferret it is a bit limited legally.... ill hopefully get up the dales for a few days, land full of open buries is a dream when half our time is crawling hedge bottoms! Lol

Fishinhg wise, the west coast of Scotland is probably the most beautiful place I've fished and more of that would be great..

Also Guernsey, I've only scratched the surface, the kayak fishing is the best I've had and I'd happily spend weeks at a time out there in the tide races for bass, plus put some effort into the tope in the same areas...

There's still plenty of Devon I haven't walked, paddled or fished off of...so perhaps going off the beaten track locally is needed...

Oh and a day on the Wye with Daniel Caine...we don't have many barbel down here so that would be another for me.

Perhaps boar too, but I'm not exactly rivetted by the thought of splatting one over feed out of a seat...

Same here - I'd like to bow hunt the wild pigs that we have in some of the forests down this way.

Then finish the day off with a hog roast and a few beers.

But, it's never going to happen in this country

In the UK I'd consider footstalking them sporting given the law. But yeah outside the scope of this thread bowhunting would be a high priority.

Channel Islands has some cracking fishing from what I've seen.

Theres plenty of spots I think most of us haven't fished, I'm gradually ticking marks off but have favourites

A few years ago that is something that I would have listed on this thread. But last year I finally got my shit together and got my first kill. Looking forward to warm summer days with my gear in a rucksack hiking the coastal paths looking for quiet bays and coves to have an armed snorkel about... Nothing serious like some of these guys but fulfilling nonetheless.

Many years ago a mate of mine had an Irish greyhound from racing stock that refused to run the electric hare, but was great as a worker would lamp, course and retrieve to hand, he had always wanted to do a red so booked a cottage in Scotland and went up the greyhound coursed and pulled down a red stag, mate had to jump in the river and finish the stag with a knife as it was a bit of a stalemate and both were physically fecked but he achieved his goal, but some times getting your dream come true can be a nightmare, had mates that used to travel out to Lundy island to do rabbits once a year, but it would sicken you after 7 days ferreting and 7 nights lamping and though loads of people wanted to go and have a pop not many returned the next year, ???
