Most people seem to have 1 of these so I'm a bit late to the party but got 1 yesterday. Mostly cook for 1 these days and getting a bit lazy, fresh veg = too many pots and cleaning etc. Chips tend to be oven ready, a blasphemous thing to say on here I know. Purchased to give the home made chips thing a try as can no longer be bothered with deep fryer and chucked the chip pan out years ago due to H&S. Fresh veg without all the pans would be a bonus.

Tried air frying sausages yesterday, good quality sausages. They were definitely cooked and edible but without the lovely sausaginess that you get when fried or grilled. But after reading the manual that could have been my fault, they still need turned during the cooking process that I had not done.

I've got the Tefal air fryer oven. Them ninjas are okay. For like you say cooking for one. But these Tefal air fryer ovens are something else. Do owt in them mate. You can some of the ninjas. I've got a small air fryer for the rotisserie for doing home chicken Donna , and tandoori chicken. That's a brilliant little air fryer. We never use the oven much. Wife used it today to make some homemade custard tarts that's about it.

Also need less time than usual cooking … ie chicken breast burgers , 25 mins oven … 18 mins in air fryer… at same temp turn half way through ..  … game changer in my house …  wouldn’t be without one …

one of the settings is DEHYDRATE...........would it be possible to dry mushrooms with it or tomatoes before puttingthem in olive oil

£229.00 at Curry's yesterday. Had done bit of online search last week and could have got slightly cheaper but an impulse buy when walking past the shop. Was worth it to take the young salesman apart in front a big queue when he was desperately trying to sell me extended insurance. When he said "once you take it out of the box you are not covered" a more experienced colleague intervened and gave me £29.00 off for cash sale to get rid of me.

Cod n chips from a van. The chips look pale but taste really good, Maris P I think. Nice bit of cod, not coastal quality but twice as good as the local chippy, which is indicative of what lazy shits they are, when a man in a van can produce much much better.   Edited to say the sausage was insurance against the fish being shit.
