You'll get none of that cos he's wrong as usual.

Stats say there were more excess winter deaths in 2017/2018.

Another Facebook FACT

I've just read the article about it in the British Medical Journal and it reads completely differently to the number that's been posted here.

Max. Please post your source.

 How many more ??

You're forgetting a certain FACT though mate.

Covid didn't get a proper foothold till the back end of winter 2020.

How about let's go with the annual excess death where we had the highest figures since WW2.

2016 or 17 was worse ?

Says who ?

At the time of writing this article in March, Public Health England told Full Fact it estimated that on average 17,000 people have died from the flu in England annually between 2014/15 and 2018/19 -  with the yearly deaths varying widely from a high of 28,330 in 2014/15 to a low of 1,692 in 2018/19.

Didn’t get a proper foot hold

It killed more off in the first wave because OAP were being put back into care homes when positive spreading it to other oap vunerable residents instead of been given proper good care in hospitals .

30k they say met their end in care homes .

You clearly don't understand what I'm saying do you?

You keep up bringing 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 or whatever winter you're talking of but fail to acknowledge that those figures were from a full winter.

Have a look yourself Chris

im sure your capable ?

I have. It completely contradicts your number.

Are you unwilling to link to it, or unable?

If unwilling please state so as my coffee is going cold and I've got actual sh*t to do.

If unable tell me where you read it and I'll look for myself.
