I don't one a much about car racing or Lewis Hamilton or Twitter ,but I have just read that he has criticised and condemned his fellow racing drivers for the heinous  crime of NOT voicing an opinion on Twitter ,or more accurately not voicing HIS opinion on Twitter ,he chastised them for not condemning "the systemic racism in society " for not coming out in support of black lives matter ,he condemns their silence ,

It didn't surprise me ,he's rich ,famous and full of his own self importance like a lot of celebrities 

What did surprise me is that instead of telling him to fukoff ,the other drivers have fell over themselves to issue grovelling apologies ,real sickly ,shameful apologies .For NOT shouting out in support of the demonstrations ,for being quiet and maybe waiting for all the facts to emerge ,or maybe just thinking nobody gives a toss what some racing driver thinks ,

Thirty years ago I was considered quite a liberal fella ,my views haven't changed ,but now I'm considered one of wilfs mob ...the world's gone mad .

A massive fan of his but he alienates me more and more with each season. 

I don't even think he believes half of what he posts but he's got that much of a fanbase and feels he owes it to them to use his platform has a voice. 

It's all fake bullshit at the end of the day, if he felt that isolated and alone in the sport now would be the perfect time to walk away. Of course he won't and will be trying to equal Schumacher's record. 

He's a down to earth kid in reality but he's living the fake life inside his social media bubble, he needs to get a grip.

I think I'm pretty fair and accepting of most things but when I keep seeing comments and protests from blacks, gays, trannys etc demanding special treatment and demanding that everyone else tows their line, they can get stuffed.

Not close to being true but he is a bit of a loner in the sport. He doesn't really socialise with any drivers at all, that's his choice though. 

At the end of the day they are his competitors, some people just like to be alone to get switched on.

Never met a person more racist than my aunt. She drove buses in Chicago for many years. If she could get away without stopping to pick up blacks, nuns and priests she would.  She'd flick on the put of servers sing or bus full
