Greatest ending to any film, I won’t spoil it for you by posting the link . The score is also iconic    my great great grandad was a Native American who returned on a trade vessel to Ireland an

We would listen to this every year at the  rorkes drift dinner night in the warrant officers and sergeants mess .... spine tingling when the music starts .......

" Come And See "

Not watched it lately. But, it's on my shelf and has seen some service. Now, I just spotted it's on the chube. In full!

I've checked it. It's genuine. Sub titles. Fukking Hell of a film! WW2 from a Russian partizans perspective. Dishonourable cameo by the Oskar Dirlewanger Einsatzgruppen bunch.

Watch a boy of fifteen age to sixty in under two hours. Hell of a film.

Emotional subject, Dirlwanger only employed convicted criminals.

Murderer,s rapists etc so not the nicest bunch and many many of them literally got away with murder in the name of Germany.

Redcon 1.

British zombie film could have been good but too many action scenes instead of developing the decent characters and story line.

The zombies could run and didn't need a head shot to kill them so 2 faux pas there lol 6/10

Cheers, D.

American Assassin

Netflix 1hr 52.  bit disjointed but some great locations and decent action.

Enjoyed it 8- or 7+ depending whether your glass is half empty or half full 😁

Deffo worth a watch.

Cheers, D.

" In The Name Of The Father "

Flix. Two hours.

IRA based drama. I personally don't like revisiting those times. Just watched it to get it off my list.

Either way, whilst not a bad film in and of itself, I couldn't help feeling the 'evidence' - such as we were presented with - appeared a bit lame.

" Night In Paradise "

Flix. Two hours.

Korean gangsters. Subtitles, obviously. Not bad, actually. Features Korea's answer to Robert De Niro. The girl isn't too hard on the eye either. Gorgeous hair and skin :)

" The Forgotten Army "

Prime. 5 Episodes. About forty minutes a piece.

Indian, sub's obviously. Really pretty fukking good! :good:

" Maya " is obviously mean't to be the eye candy focus. But, personally? I'd crawl over her to get at her mother!

Nothing wrong with hoards of fit, young Indian women running round in well fitting khaki blouses, holding rifles above their heads either.

But, seriously? A Fukking Good Production. And a story that ~ like Yalta ~ should be told and remembered
