Couple hours everyday walking the fields letting them hunt up push cover etc been using a carpet mill too for last month and it definitely has an effect

leisurely walks with dogs threw the summer months is not keeping a lurcher ready to run in the winter months! lol @ those who think it is, it only stops them getting bored.

No it's really not but stops them losing everything big difference in fit and running fit for hard runs one after another

I exercise my terriers and lurchers together most days....walk along the river from Caerphilly to Cardiff about 10 miles,take the runners up on the hills and get them trotting in front of my truck for a few miles.....looking at getting 1 of these for my walks

Yep very big difference, I get mine doing 10 mile behind the bike 4 times a week and IMO they are just ready to start and no where near fit, the only way to get them properly fit is to get them out and behind game regular.

Trotting is a good base and thats all it is, add ball work and rabbits and you're going in the right direction.

Unbelievable bits of kit I’d love to treat my self to one but funds don’t allow me to plus we’re I’m at it’d be not to good as it’s all gated land not like we’re I was living before all open land no gates you could go for miles
