Guard dogs

Recommended Posts

In the houso areas over here a lot have big street bred pits for guarding, more drive than a bandog, better size for a yard.Even with the shitty breeding they seem to be evolving into a stable but full on guard and family dog.Over here you find the best dogs in the poorest, roughest areas.

Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

You not think it’s daft using a bull terrier or x to man bite  asking for trouble

I think as society is becoming more violent, with ice and other drugs people want something that is going to give it all to protect.A lot of other breeds now have a ? in this role and when your life is at stake, not good enough. Not many random attacks on innocent people when you look how many of these dogs are out there.I still think people should have to complete a course in handling these dogs before owning one.

I no my animals mate I no what it’s like to try a get a bull terrier off something that’s why I think it’s foolish show them to man bite

I think society must be f***ing coked up and cracked up paranoid if you think you need a big man biter about you

there was a reason for hundred years people used herding types as man biters

and culled man biting bull terriers

My little whippet/stag is very protective and has bitten cnts that have crossed the line, something I didn't expect from her.I still have two pit/am bulldogs to guard the farm though,in an isolated area you might need these dogs.

That's the thing with the street bred pits, they need no training to protect or bite if needed.

A lot of areas are full of these people, not fantastic but just the way it is

I think the main reason was so they didn't jump the pit and attack the onlookers and to be able to handle the dogs in combat. What I'm saying is these street pits are bred as pet, yard dogs and guard naturally.

Isolated area I can understand and a bull terrier naturally guarding protecting but to reach one to man bite seems mad to me

You don't need to,even my cross pits just seem to know their job,but I'm not doing crowd control.I agree, attack training a full bred pit is insane in any environment.

And I recon it was nothing to do with jumping the pit and everything to do with knowing chances are it’ll kill you one on one

You get hero's thinking they could kill an attacking pit by ripping it's legs apart, the same blokes would scream if a rat ran up their leg when out with the terriers. From my experience with these dogs there are very few animals on earth who would want to face an angry bulldog.
