The dog was alright in itself but it produced some right bags of shit.I had a look at his pedigree and there was a dog my pal owned that I had a sister to.The dog was 6 gens back and would have been 15 if he was still alive and that tug was at least 4years old.No wonder the American bulldogs are in such a sorry state.There was some decent dogs bought over in the early days but multiple generations being pumped out for no other reason than £££ has f**ked them.

Was some nice bulldogs around but even back in 2011 the old sort was hard to find and the staff so called performance headed ones were taking over.

Imo they were already on a very slippery slope by 2011.The performance dogs are the origional sort.Not them undershot.overweight johnson bags of s**t

I think the first pair came over in about 89 mate and there was definitely quite a few coming over in the mid to late 90s.There was a few nice dogs came over in the early days but them yanks were also sending some old shit over too and half the pedigree's that come with them weren't worth the paper they were written on.

Pal of mine imported 3 direct from Alan Scott and when they first got out of quarantine the wouldnt even come out of their kennel boxes if you were stood there where they'd been used to being chained to a tree with a barrel to sleep in on the side of a mountain in deepest Alabama.One of the bitches was imported in pup and whelped the litter in quarantine. I ended up with probably the best bitch from the litter and all the rest of the litter ended up going to well known kennels/breeders at the time.The bitch I had made an excellent worker alongside the terriers and lurchers but the one litter I bred from her when I bred her close threw pups ranging fom a couple that were 90% black to one that looked like a 50lb white pitbull and a couple that looked like big rangey hound/bulldog crosses.Just goes to show that you couldn't trust a word those old dog dealing redneck fuckers told you.

I growed up hog hunting with Alan Scott.Hes just another peddler in my area.His Pat's won't enter.His catahoulas are scared of their own shadow.His bulldogs never went hunting.Every time I hunted with him I was asked to bring a catchdog.Mine were apbt.Alan only ever had one good hog dog it was a Rhodesian ridgeback.Sorry to bust anyone's bubble.

He bragged of making trips to y'all's side.Most real dogmen can see through him.He gifted me an undershot male pat last year.About 18 months old.I don't think that terrier would have went to ground for steak nor p#@&y.I wish him no harm but he's a hustler and peddler.

No other than some accidents with my old jag. I have one large island that has a few.After bumping into an otter I gave up most other hunting.15 lb otter will whoop 100 lb hog and eat him lol.

Yes but not broadcasted much like chicken Derby.If you don't talk as slow as me then they get tight lipped.Theres boys in hills and swamps who have a catch dog a baydog and a knife.No publicity.Some can't read and write.Not making light as these are my kinsmen.I watched 2 good ole boys run down 2 piglets to eat.They needed the food.My dad give them 500 for their best baydog.Hardest part nowadays is a good veterinarian.Its extremely gruesome and the vet bills mount up quickly.Vets generally require photo proof of the hog because it looks really bad.I had a baydog (running catchdog) dissemboweled and vet saved him.i sold him to Alan's buddy for 200 as we were all hunting buddies but i was focused on the terriers.They let him get killed in kennel accident.Ive never hunted or spoke to them again except Alan.

We have very few Gators but plenty of cottonmouths.Worse part of hog hunting is ticks.I have seen 3 different men get lime disease.Hogs can run for miles especially in hill country.When you catch up to the Bay you puking from running so hard.Leg a boar hog who is kicking your brains out then handcuff him then tote hog and a dog all the way  back to truck covered in ticks.Then go spend the rest of the night giving your money to vet office.Good times
