Burial Pods

Recommended Posts

There is a woodland burial site near to where I'm from. The wrabness woodland burial site. My uncle was buried there over ten years ago, not in a pod though, but in a cardboard coffin, I think?

With a choice from a selection of trees......nice idea I thought....

I actually know of a woods that has many graves in it and after a storm the skeletons do be entwined in the roots of the tree.

The farmer who owns the woods sends for the local Priest and he comes and blesses the deceased. I'm not sure if they get interned again.

Remember hearing a good few years ago about being buried in a cardboard coffin with a tree planted above, anybody know what plant nutrients a human body would supply a sapling with ?, bit of nitrogen I reckon

If it was an apple tree would you eat the apples, LOL.

Great idea nothing more depressing than a bloody graveyard. I am going to stick some bulbs of some description on my grand parents graves. The wife noticed some one had done it and that is a great idea. Nice low maintenance fresh flower every year. They would have both liked that
