I promise mate I don't under stand that sentence. I am not arguing I believe one thing you another fare enough I had on problem with that. I don't like the implacation that my friend are some kind of looneys or telling lies. 

As this thread is about Big Cats and I've all way found that interesting mainly because I have be told of accounts by friends then I think I will stick around.

Im not calling anyone a liar ,again ,I’m not calling anyone a liar .

Your accounts seem very real but if so where’s the proof .

You can’t have one without the other mate .Nothing vanishes into thin air .

I get it was years ago but we are talking about current times as well and these things are still being seen with enough regularity to warrant an investigation by some foundation or another yet nothing seems to be underway .

Even if your mates sightings were years back there were still cameras and dna available but not a jot to be found .

Tell me why there is still this shit ongoing without a conclusion and I’ll leave the thread alone .

Just to bring this to a grounded level this is a pic I took in Kenya ,Salt lick lakes on the Tanzania border .If anyone thinks we have a black version of this running around then I beg to differ .

What I find a bit strange FD is the ones that seem to post the most on this thread don't believe in Big Cats in the UK. If theres no interest then why post but I do think you are interested as for Sandy think its a hate of GM.

Thing is as you say most not all mind of sightings were 20 years ago who walked around day in day out with a zoom camera ready to take a picture of a once in a life time sighting.

The people that told me of their accounts were not interested in finding proof as they had seen it were not going to the press or reporting to any body.

I don't know it dna, scat or hair samples have proven any thing. I do hope with tail cams better mobil cameras we will get better footage.

I think witnesses should be taken into account and not constantly being ridiculed, just seem a shame to me. 

I'm confident it will be forthcoming in the future and better technology there will be proof.

I also admire GM for putting time and money into his hobby and hope it bears fruit.

Tell the truth that was out your window mate, maybe stuff like lynx would be able to survive here but not stuff like leopards. I’ve said on here about sightings in my old haunts and there is nowhere for them to hide but I have had big ferals

Not sure if your puling my chain about Sandy but all i read is straight forward irrefutable evidence to the contrary of there being large cats in the  uk which is after all what the thread is about .I see no I’ll feeling from Sandy at all ,quite the reverse .

Fare coment FD.

All sighting I refer to are in the Southhams which is South Devon sort of Plymouth to beyond Exeter and Salcombe to the edge of Dartmoor. Thing is these sightings seemed to be here today 20 miles away the next, a big area.

I know a well known shooting man and he's educated and knowledge able not a liar or fanatist  who saw a big cat he was so convinced he wrote to basc and contacted firearms on whether he. could legally shoot it with his rifle and he wasn't given a straight answer but both departments took time to repeatedly reply to his sighting it wasn't dismissed as a joke I have no reason to doubt him I have seen the paper work second one a farmer were I go saw one twice first time walking a hedgeline  whilst he was shooting crows and pigeons he saw it for about ten seconds and as clear as day second time was a brief sighting what both men said if they did shoot it they wouldn't tell anyone or will they discuss what they saw with not just anyone

Those lions have eaten a few people, there's hundreds of gir lions, a couple of lions have been captured for eating locals.
