Which is big under the circumstances, maybe not the best of news for Le Penn? Who will those voters vote for in the second round? Waz 4,293
Just read about Macron, its a brand new party. He done some good changes business wise that effected me under Sarko, so im feeling possitive. With Marine doing so well, maybe Macron will tighten up on the issues she is popular for.. viva la révolution
Nik_B 3,791
With Marine doing so well, maybe Macron will tighten up on the issues she is popular for.. How many times have we heard that before elections. I remember the conservative party telling us they would bring down immigration to the tens of thousands This election will be centred around globalism versus nationalism and about a French referendum on the EU. Economically Le Pen is centre left, Macron much more left wing and will continue many of Holland's policies I imagine.
Nik_B 3,791
P.S it's funny how people on the left have started trusting bankers again. Macron is a former Rothschild's banker

Nik_B 3,791
What is interesting is that yet again the polls were wrong by the looks of it, both exit polls suggested Le Pen would come second not the data is looking like she came first.

Lenmcharristar 10,296
the lefty media wrong again, the immigrants in gay paris dont represent the numbers in france, like the pakis in london dont represent the population of gb
JDHUNTING 1,817
I thought when trump was being elected a polls had him down initially that he would be infront really and i bet it's same with le pen. The right wing voters won't be to vocal on exit polls as they know it's not popular with the establishment types, plus the journos will be at the major (usually left wing) population centres not in the sticks were trump le pen etc are popular
BGD 6,437
the lefty media wrong again, the immigrants in gay paris dont represent the numbers in france, like the pakis in london dont represent the population of gb The polls were pretty much bang on in this case actually With all the votes counted - more than 40 million in total - the final results in the first round closely matched those predicted by opinion polls. Mr Macron came out on top with around 23.8 per cent of the vote, closely followed by Ms Le Pen on just less than 21.6 per cent. They are the last two candidates now standing, after 11 entered the first round. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/french-election-final-results-latest-marine-le-pen-victory-emmanuel-macron-second-round-celebrate-a7698461.html
