We've had a few recent topics on Saluki's recently, great athletes but they aren't out and out speed machines like some Londogs and Lurchers are. Let's see some up and at em types that could put it on the quarry in short order.

I like a fast dog

I do tbh, my first dog was a 3/4 Collie x Greyhound and he could shift. Out on our Sunday walk with my mates when young teenagers I was quite smug knowing my dog would leave theirs for dust when putting something up.

She holds her own, can turn on a sixpence, the deep heather don't do her much favours but anything else doesn't phase her

I have a 1st x saluki /greyhound for the last 8 years and hes a very fast dog,weve had 4 minute runs with him once or twicebut he usually finishes the job in a minute or two in small and big land,hes taken ebverything put in front of him,hes had some real bad injuries and has bounced back each time,I am hoping to buy some pup ofsimilar breeding in and replicate his form...

 

 

Iwas considering offering him at stud but I dont want the attention of the morons out there that seem to exist of late

The dam to my pup is a very fast bitch, a mate put a big strong type dog over her I'm hoping for my pup to turn out somewhere in the middle as there's no need to be as fast as the bitch haha

It’s been so hot here, I shaved young Zip’s hair off so she should be faster taking the power to weight factor into consideration lol. she is quick enough for what I do.
