Silversnake 1,099
I find poaching a tricky one. I can't blame someone trying to find a run for their dogs, but if I owned land I would not want poachers coming around. But on the other hand if they come quietly, respect the land and don't wipe out all the quarry I wouldn't be too hard on them. Any damage to property or theft I would get very nasty but it would have to get serious for me to consider involving the law.

desertbred 5,490
Weve had a couple of run ins with the female Game Officer to no avail she was making a lot of assumptions and presumptions that came to nothing But. by applying pressure to Farmers/Landowners she cost us a lot of our rabbiting permissions on her patch poisonous springs to mind. Just come home after a morning out and seen fresh 4X4 tracks through wheat, smashed through two hedges... attributing blame is as easy as it is with terror attacks! Dinosaurs 2,150
Used to walk dogs up on the downs alot years ago but to hot now even if they all on leads. Used to do a nice circular walk from East hendred towards Wantage then back via Ardington just not worth the hassle now. Atb

Whenever you see on the news about a terror attack, pound to a pinch of piss it's radical islamists, likewise when you see the damage to farmland this time of year pound to a pinch it's hare coursers. No other implied link of course.
