I'm guessing that new missile is a MIRV configured with multiple warheads. I think the combined yield is around 50Mt from around 10 MIRVs which is obviously a more efficient way of spreading that destructive energy than a single warhead but still a long way from "destroying Britain twice over". Theoretical and documented damage radii for warheads would have to be literally hundreds of miles out if that were the case. That said a 50Mt nuclear weapon with defensive countermeasures is certainly a fearsome thing! And they'd probably send more than one, LOL.
