I work coons on a regular basis and in my opinion they are a very good animal , it does depend on age , size and time of the year. Coons will hibernate during the winter and when they come out of hibernation they are on the weak side but bounce back quickly. During hibernation they are very aggressive and strong. Not all but most of our coons are very big in comparison to a lot of states , it's normal for us to get coons 25 pounds + and them ones are very durable and difficult to handle.
