Go on I'll accommodate this thread lol the ancestors of this dog go back to mr Nuttals yard best dog I've had for a long while

You sir do sound like an anti to me. Nobody asks that many questions. Gathering information is all your at. Anybody with half a brain cell wouldn't respond to your posts.

I'm not trying to offend you or Brian, it's a case of horses for courses, 12 lbs would be of no use to me or 90% of the UK's terrier men. Brian's had a massive influence on terriers, so have hundreds

Very trusting and nice man, but he bought the litter of us even though we didn't no the breeding of bitch, said he put ove his dogs again and it's back to his breeding!

And as dead eyes asked were are the pics of mr nuttall dogs and pups of today? So many have claimed to be there recently and know the man so it shouldnt be a big deal to post some of his dogs of today..

Yes it does make you wonder doesn't it...

All these blokes knocking his dogs off saying they wouldn't have one given but know for a FACT that they are no good....

So either they are still using his dogs and lying about it or hang around with fellas who keep shit dogs or just plain lying full stop...

your small 12lb dogs may suit you and thats perfectly fine. but some lads need another 10lbs for the big tubes they work. Your quick to slag off something you haven't seen. That's called naive.

And what do you have quarry wise that is bigger then ours? Your badger and fox looks just as big as ours. Our coons can get pretty big also. A 27lb coon isnt abnormal. The smallest thing we have is a the gray fox. So what do you have that you need a bigger dog then we do? And i may not be smart like you guys but i thiught the dogs job was to bolt or hold it in one spot so you could locate and dig to it and dispatch the quarry. Not let it stay and kill it on its own. Always thought it was a partnership. Dig to dog, pull quarry and dog out and dispatch properly..but hey im a stupid american. And your talking 22lb dogs or bigger? f**k man i can get game bred dogs almost that size. Atleast staffs i know i can..

like I said, you haven't seen them work.

I've been over the pond and there's no comparison in the earth's or the shear amount of work for a terrier. The barns are a good bit of fun, they hold plenty of coons but fail in comparison completely.

I never bumped into an American badger, the setts they excavate are nothing, imagine the easiest puppy earth you could start a terrier in and half it.

The Fox is the exact same fox, vulpes vulpes, they do have the grey fox they're smaller.

The terriers I saw work the coon got knocked up fairly badly, they're no pushover.

Let's see pics of your digs to your american badger with your 12lb dogs please mate, and pics of there setts please, just curious

like i said before just getting back into the terriers. Mine all died off. Have 2 up an coming dogs now and 1 old bitch that is about 16 years old and and as game as they come. And as far as badger we dont have many so to find them is like winning the lottery. I havent been lucky enough but been on reds and grays and ground hog and coon. And as soon as my dogs are old enough i will post pics. Especially of the grays i will get..much tougher then any red. I have alot of hunting grounds and barns i have permission to hunt. And believe me i scout hard. I keep binoculars in my glove box and check feilds all the time..you come here i have enough spots to hunt ill keep you digging all day..

the coons are nothing compared to the ground hog. And never had a dog beat up by the coon. A lady that got me into hunting hunts jacks, her name is char smith and one of the finest dog woman there is.and her jacks would even beat a coon.
