Bread pudding was made with bread which was 'past it's best', it was left to soak in either water or milk with sugar and ground mixed spice (cinnamon, coriander, cloves, pimento, nutmeg and ginger) an

I pop down to see me old mum on a Monday she's always made something had some bread pudding with custard and a nice strong cuppa .

Had my fav snack last two mornings as I'v been bed bound n had the wife running about after me, square sausage on plain loaf with Tom sauce. Diet right out the window this week and no training, couldn't have came at worse time as its last week of sons fight camp and had a lot of work to put in??

Do you make your own jam peterhunter86.

You can't beat homemade jam. We add apple to the blackberries.

We make enough and freeze some. Its nice around the xmass time.

I just boil them up with some suger and them mash them but it goes off after a week or so i must not be doing it right but its lovly all the same and like you i freeze some to make it last i must try it with some apple pal.

i very much doubt any scotsman would buy square sausage from there mate

I didnt see that ill get my mrs to have a look when she does the shopping cheers.

Ice cream is a weakness, trying to get back into some sort of shape so cant have it in the house at the minute, or I can hear it calling me from the freezer.

 

As an occasional wine gums, but I have to goto an english expat shop for them, rare thing.
