I spent 5-600 on a wooden one about three years ago and iv already replaced it with a block and tin roof job.

Wood gets too hot in summer and can get too cold in winter, they chew it, piss makes jt smell after a while and you have to treat it evry year.

I spent about 800 on a big block one, more or less a garage with galvanised fronts. Well happy.

So it right first time round

Here's a pic of the block work on mine before the roof and the sections went up ....drainage imp is very important I have a channel at the end run that runs into a soak away also I have one entrance gate to all the runs that is always locked ...something else you have to think about these days

If I had a choice I would go block every time with raised bed and insulated and a concrete run with 1 block all way round and built in drains but if you do go wood route just a shed design with raised bed with a run with slabs down does the trick if you know your not going too be there for years

any more pics of kennels for ideas I'll be working with a space 11ft wide space between fence and steps into my garden and I could come out about 5ft so it doesn't take to much of my garden up
