socks 32,253
We have had a nest above my back door for the last 3 years and this year they have built another nest and are in the process of rearing a second clutch ... In between the first lot of young leaving and the second near being built we have had patio doors fitted in the living room that looks out onto my back garden ... Over the last 3 days the swallows have flown in through the patio doors circled around my living room along the hallway and out of the back door to feed their young ... Anybody else had this happen to them ........
walshie 2,804
Had one in our living room a couple of weeks back. It had it's tail feathers pointing straight down and was hovering around. It sat on top of the curtain pole for a minute then hovered back out. Weird to see a bird flying like that.

Mooching Celt 659
Went away for a week's holiday and had a mate of the missus staying to look after the dogs and her horses. Came home to find out we had left the bedroom window open and swallows had built a nest in the corner just inside the window, missus wouldn't have it removed so curtains were clipped together and they reared a brood in the bedroom. Wasn't any sort of problem until on must have came past the curtain when the wind blew it slightly and was doing the wall of death round the room unable to get back out..........curtains pulled back and it flew out...........sh!t everywhere lol

Greyman 32,404
Richie's cider farmshop near highbridge, in Somerset has them flying in and around his shop, pretty smart to watch em weave in and out the rafters, I think some of them even nest indoors down there,
