Giggs is soooo.....fcuking weak! I mean how could he of been tempted????

He wants to be a manager so he'll need to go and cut his teeth somewhere in the lower leagues I'd expect.

In terms of why, I'd say Jose maybe doesn't want him in the set up, and I could understand that.

He wasnt told to leave he was offered a role in coaching but mourinho brought in his own number 2 and giggs didnt want to play 3rd fiddle which is fair enough on both sides. Wales should put him back in the side to replace ramsey for semi final he would probably still be fit and put in a good shift.

Don't do football either, can't see why people pretending to be hurt when barely touched, screaming when something doesn't go their way appeals to anyone, I got a 4 yr old for that.

But to me can't see why anyone would think he be a good bet for the Man U job, same as Nevile for England, lack of any experience, now be sensible if the FA thought Nevile was a good prospect to put him in a lower league side for a year to manage, then if did ok put him to manage a Championship side, in fact they could do that with several young wannabe managers and use that to get them experience and prove themselves, in the long run it would probably save them money as well on 3 mil a yr wages and payoffs when they realise they are shite.

the FA dont pick the managers the clubs pick their own and wouldnt be happy about getting every ex man utd or england player dumped on their doorstep to train them up to manage england someday ,great players dont always make good managers.

You don't think a lower league side would want someone the FA thought would be ok for the national side ? that sort of proves his isn't up to the national job and should be discarded then.

And I know great players don't always make good managers, hell most of them can't even be a decent pundit ! that's sort of the point of it yet people still keep on going on about how Nevile should be given a chance with Eng or Giggs could of had the Man U gig, I didn't mean the FA go to a club and tell them to take a person on, rather wait for them to prove themselves in management and what better way than to actually manage a team.

I'm a MAN U fan, born a stone's throw from the ground. I'm glad to see him go. What did he expect? The manager's job as a sort of long service award? Knocking off his brother's wife is low. Rooney is another -knocking off two call girls when his wife was pregnant. Some say a man's private life is nothing to do with his job, but I disagree. These guys are heroes to hundreds of thousands of kids. My hero when I was a kid was Harry Gregg. The guy who twice went back to save people trapped in the flaming remains of the Munich plane. Some difference. All kids are taught to respect now is money and fame. Those who are rich think they can behave as they want and couldn't give a monkey's who they influence along the way.

Everyone bangs on about Giggs and his brothers Mrs, they don't mention she was with Giggs BEFORE she was with his brother. You could also say "what type of bloke starts banging his brothers ex after they split up?" Its a bad idea for many reasons IMO.. Think it's a good idea for him to move on, there needs to be a big change at United after the first few post Fergie years.. Mourinho will be at his best with as little interference or distraction as possible.

Yes but as a football fan would you prefer an average player whos an upstanding fine citizen......or a great player whos a bit of a lowlife ?......because all we are is football fans.

If it comes out next week that Dimitri Payet makes love to horses i really dont care as long as he carries on performing as he has for West Ham.... i dont want to be his friend he is a foreign footballer who happens to play for the club i follow theres no relationship between fans and players anymore so what do i care what he does in his private life....i just cant buy this " role models " for kids one either......again,should fantastic footballing talent be thrown out of academies for not minding their p,s and q,s ?.....we all moan football is not the working mans game anymore yet making role models of players just puts even more distance between players and fans i feel so sorry for a lad like Rooney its clear to see he,s a shy timid type of lad who feels so uncomfortable behind a camera yet is forced into this mr nice guy role kids should have family and teachers as role models not sportsmen in my opinion.
