I have just had the most f****d up conversation.....

I have been working all day, started early/finished late, watched the match, came home walked the dog decided I'm hungry and want something quick. Decided on a local kebab house with a reasonable rep (first mistake).

Got talking to the guy; he's telling me he came to England on a student visa did some bullshit business course and when it came to the end of his visa he came here to Spain to finish his papers (his words) get a passport and return to Blighty!

Vote the fuuck out of this corrupt, decadent, elitist serving system now!!!

VOTE OUT I HAVE/WILL

"British public wrong about nearly everything" sums up the current state of affairs perfectly IMO

I could well be the only THL user who's still undecided about how to vote. I've heard compelling arguments for both sides and I'll continue to weigh things up. I do worry about the impact on the economy and I don't have faith in those leading the Brexit camp. Farage, Boris and Gove are not people that I have much trust in. Not that those on the other side are any better mind...

britain coped just fine before it went toward the eu, he'll we were the most powerful nation in the word at one time, on both occasion France got its ass kicked by the Germans they called to us for help, nwhich many of our young/old men/women gave their lives selflessly to make sure we were free from foreign rule. On that alone should be enough, those that died will be done a massive injustice if we stay and give away control of our nation

Personally I have been saying that we need to get out of the EU for the last 10 or so years. To my way of thinking, what is the point in voting in this country if, whatever party gets in is ruled by faceless unelected bureaucrats from Brussels. While we are in the EU, which incidentally none of the UK public had a say in, we will never have our say in our own destiny.

I am old enough to remember Ted Teeth taking us in to the Common market, the way it was sold them was the promise of cheaper food and better deals for our farmers. Since then the 'Common Market' has blossomed in to the monster that is now the EU. It was stated many years ago that the EU was trying to create The United States of Europe. It will never work as we are different nations with different Ideals.

As for the economy I heard today that the FT index dropped below 6000, that is just the money men trying to scare people into voting to stay. They are willing to take a short term hit not to loose their fat cat.
