Do You Support Junior Doctors Strike

Recommended Posts

I wonder how many lives are put at risk when a junior doctor is on their 80th hour in that week? Don't believe the government there is emergency cover as all consultants are doing the cover. Just more lies upon even more lies.

I agree tc,,,it's them stupid long work hours that need addressing ,,,but I also think they should work weekends,,,,

I don't pretend to know much about how the nhs is run,,or even if it's possible,,,but couldn't they work a shift pattern like 3 on 3 off,,,,,,12 hour shifts,,,

Thats a generalisation about nurses max,my womans a nurse and she went into the profession because she totally wants to care for people, she is very compassionate, and as for sniff, she thinks thats an involuntary action when someones nose is running.Likewise my son,i wanted him to be a mining engineer, his mum died when he was very young,he sat me down one day and said he wanted to make a difference and try to help people thats why he chose medicine.

The whole culture of the NHS is broken simply because everyone is too afraid to touch it.

Doctors are drowning under a flood of patients who clog up waiting rooms for the slightest little thing because it's "free".......and they prescribe pills like sweets simply to get through the backlog.

Great people work in the health service but they are trying to operate in a culture where there is always an excuse for failure.

they are being offered 13% rise and cut in their overall hours so f**k off about them being overworked and underpaid, this is political, nothing more, nothing less,, how many other jobs do you know of where they walk out of uni straight into a guaranteed job to continue with their training, guaranteed raises as they complete their training, full pay and the opportunity to earn doing private work (the orthopaedics in Wrexham were doing so much the nhs waiting lists went nuts, I was a victim of the fiddling the twats resorted to to try and cover it up)

No they were the patients....the only NHS worker I saw who was foreign was a porter (dead ringer for Sadam Hussain)

The doctor and nurse a was seen by were both locals

This is the downside to the free system.. Its a shite magnet and without a doubt a deciding factor why many immigrants choose the UK as there destination. Edited by kanny
