A Bee Fly look at the size of the proboscis. I had one hanging about last year another back again. Hard to get a photo they don't sit still long. I watch it feeding last year hovering next to a flower and sticking it proboscis in the flower to feed.

There's a bloke near me that does travel books and you tube vids, was filming a short distance away from ours last spring/summer. Some great vids of these. First time I met him he was filming the hazel tree leaf rolling weevil (12 mins) amazing.

I've subscribed to his channel, some amazing stuff, check out the My Cornish Summer series of vids.?

Cheers, D.
