delswal 3,819
Wonder if it will be kept in a kennel for 2 years without exercise, then destroyed under the dangerous dogs act?
The one 8,597
Surely should of been socialised ? It okay saying it's just a dog but it was somebody's pet and suppose it was a child ? And what was the handler doing ? How far away was he ? And why did it attack without being told ? I think it's career might be over and it will be pts

No, its a working police dog and a good asset to the police that cost a lot of money to train ect. !
Born Hunter 17,974
That thing can hardly be considered a dog! The Shepherd probably thought it had found a squirrel. The copper should keep his dog under better control. I don't think the dogs behavior should be viewed as unreasonable personally.
neil cooney 10,416
Not being one to spread rumours, BUT, I heard it was a white German Sheppard and the dog it killed was a Black Labrador.

Thinking about it that dog should be put down its out of control and the police officer should loose his job he had a dangerous weapon out of control ?
downsouth 8,401
A pal of mine who works in the security industry came down to mine last year with a Dutch herder for another pal of mine to pts after he'd had it a couple of weeks and realised that the dog was out of control and an accident waiting to happen. He later found out that it had been used in the prison service but had done a couple of screws it then went into the police force but was too much so was passed onto someone else before it was offered to him.
