some have said its been done s/h I should think it was a long drawn out affair and I should think the terrain wont favour some crosses I have seen some decent mutts get along side some oft them big fellas and fold when they see the size of some of them they can make for a bad night for one reason or another

should imagine all lurchers can keep up with them running,a good many could flip them or knock them over but the challenge would be keeping them down.an average hind must be about 100kg alive and the stags bigger.dangerous game that is.not sure if this is true but i heard the famous pie dog was last seen being carried off by a red and never seen again.
