downsouth 8,357 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Share Posted January 5, 2016 I love mature Stilton but it has to be a good quality one.I like it between bacon and a fried egg in a sarnie or in soup or just a big wedge of it with a nice crispy apple and a few grapes with a nice glass of port. Frontbum 76 Posted January 5, 2016 Report Share Posted January 5, 2016 If anyone's fancying blue cheese but are a bit afraid try Dolcelette, beautiful, mild and creamy. Me, love any cheese,old man used to get the sweatiest, runniest, stinkiest cheese he could from the supermarket deli (E and E. Booth in Blackburn circa 1970, very few places where you could find a good selection of cheese in them days) and usually get it cheaper if it was near rancid lol Cheers, D.
