this lad was spotted in a local park we frequent,jaysus i never thought they'd come so far up.I thought they couldnt handle fresh water,cause hes a long long way from the sea.whats yer thoughts on this carry on?

i was thinking hes afraid of drowning out at sea lol....can they survive for long in fresh water?

yes mate and once they feast on freshwater fish they bring friends to dinner too, wiped out parts of the Lagan and the quoile in downpatrick in no time they took them back to sea but they soon returned ended up getting a lead injection. A big danger to fresh water systems

I have seen one in the river don in the middle of Doncaster. Thats a fair trek for it from the coast, unless it came on the train from cleethorpes!

there was 3 in the don near meadowhall a few years ago

even more awkward for them three then, they will have had to change trains at donny!
